about me
Who am I?
Exploring Life, Death, and Transformation Through Ancestral Wisdom and Conscious Inquiry.

Rooted in Finnish ancestry, I carry the spirit of sisu, a Finnish term referencing a deep inner strength, resilience, and determination to face life’s challenges with courage and purpose. This ancestral ethos has shaped my journey, guiding me through transformative experiences and the pursuit of deeper understanding.
Growing up, I spent some of my childhood in my grandfather’s funeral home, surrounded by the ever-present reality of life and death. These early experiences sparked profound questions about existence, consciousness, and what lies beyond. Rather than fearing the unknown, I became fascinated by it. I began seeking wisdom through study, exploration, and direct experience of consciousness. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a biopsychology and cognitive science degree, I began my journey of the lived experience: embarking on a 10,000 mile road trip around the US, moving to Maui for 11 years, hiking 500 miles across Spain in the Camino de Santiago, and traveling and hiking throughout the US, Europe, Costa Rica, and the Brazilian Amazon.
This lifelong inquiry eventually led me to research entheogenic and psychedelic experiences, facilitate integration work, and advocate for a world where people can embrace transformation with intention and support. My path is one of bridging the seen and unseen, honoring ancestral wisdom, and helping others navigate their own journeys of self-discovery and growth.
Skills
I bring a unique blend of knowledge, experience, and guidance to those seeking transformation. My expertise spans psychedelic integration coaching, educational curriculum development, policy advocacy, and creative healing practices. Whether you are processing a transformative experience, struggling with a shift in paradigms and reassessing old and outdated worldviews, seeking mentorship in direct democracy and decriminalization efforts, or looking for a creative outlet for integration, I provide personalized support tailored to your journey.
With years of experience facilitating integration circles, training emerging leaders, and engaging in research on entheogenic experiences, I offer a grounded, compassionate approach to personal and spiritual growth and collective evolution. Let’s work together to bring clarity, meaning, and empowerment to your path.
Work Experience
My journey has taken me through a diverse range of industries, each contributing to my understanding of people, service, and creativity. From selling artwork and hammocks to working in restaurants as a cook, waiter, and bartender in Maui, these experiences taught me adaptability, connection, and the value of hard work. However, my passion for transformation and consciousness exploration led me to my dissertation research and to co-found two nonprofits: Entheogenic Research, Integration, and Education (ERIE) 501(c)(3), dedicated to research, education, and community-based integration support, and Decriminalize Nature 501(c)(4), a grassroots movement advocating for policy reform to restore access to entheogenic plants and fungi. These initiatives have allowed me to merge advocacy, education, and mentorship, supporting individuals and communities in engaging with these powerful tools for healing and growth.
